Physician Executive Leadership Council
Led by our Chief Medical Officer, the Physician Executive Leadership Council is a unique aspect of our Medical Leadership mentality. The PELC is comprised of key physicians (pathologists) who embody our core philosophies. Their main mission is to provide medical leadership and oversight, formulate medical policy and standards and to establish a cohesive physician team throughout SHUSA.
Medical leadership is not just in the hands of our doctors and pathologists, it is part of every member of our staff. The PELC is the backbone of this model.
